TL;DR — Thoughtful design, generous spaces and calm country outlooks. Guests love how easy it is to gather here, explore Broke–Fordwich by day, and settle in by the fire or spa at night.
The house is beautiful and in a lovely location with stunning views! Horses all around and hot air balloons on Sunday morning — pretty special! Clean with everything you need. A gifted bottle of red wine was a lovely touch. Jo was a great host — quick to respond with helpful local info. We’d love to stay again. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend staying here. Beautiful house, stunning surroundings. Sunrise on the deck with horses grazing was a highlight. Can’t wait to come back.

Well designed, stylish, and full of nature. Sunrises and kangaroos, a honey brewery next door, and an unparalleled night sky. Fully furnished, brand-new feel and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

Fully stocked with everything we needed (we especially loved the BBQ and slow cooker!). Fantastic fire pit; welcoming wineries nearby. Jo’s responses were quick and thoughtful. Highly recommend — we’ll be back!
What a peaceful place to stay in. ~20 minutes from Cessnock, great location, close to local shops. Everything is provided and all electronics are great quality. Way over expectations.
A very nice house that worked well for us, with lots of room for 5 energetic grandchildren to run around in. Great options for sitting, chatting, eating and drinking together. Fabulous views through the rear of the property.
Jo's place is tasteful, homely and really really clean. Our family enjoyed an amazing stay and we are already considering coming back. We were pleasantly surprised by how close the horses are to the property.

We stayed in winter and the fire and heating were great. Can only imagine in summer sitting out on the huge deck. A great stay.

Incredible views every which way and a deck spot for any time of day. Quick, effective air-con in the heat. Spacious rooms, plenty of bathrooms for privacy; teens loved the media room. Close to smaller wineries in Broke, away from busy Pokolbin. Clear comms; house is new and very clean. We’ll be back.
